2020… the year that was… and the year that wasn’t. A year where every month seemed to bring some fresh new hell or horror that made the concept of existence even more unbearable than it typically tends to be. As usual, music was the coping mechanism of choice for several in the world, us included, and so it’s time to close the book on the decade that was 2020 with our year-end favorite albums countdown. Alex keeps things short and focused while having some choice words about the state of the industry at large, Mark runs down his top 20 of the year (including a whole lot of Griselda), and Robert’s typically gargantuan list gets only mildly shaved down this year to a top 25. Good riddance 2020, may we never have to think about you again.
