Welcome to the Decibel Boost Podcast album roundup for the months of August/September 2026! Due to various external circumstances, this episode contains two months worth of albums in one recording, which is to be expected given the rather eventful and varied release calendar for this stretch of the year. First: Alex discusses the latest efforts from Ladrones, SiM, Phoebe Bridgers, The Ocean, Coldrain, and quite a bit more! Next: Mark discusses various projects from the likes of Erykah Badu and The Alchemist, Channel Tres, Fathers, Open Mike Eagle and Kenny Segal, Bonobo, AZ Chike, Tinashe, and much more! Finally: Robert touches on new releases from Russian Circles, Mastodon, Chat Pile, Godflesh, Showing Teeth, the underwhelming new Sleep record, and President’s predictably terrible debut album.
