Monthly Album Roundup – October 2018

Welcome to the Decibel Boost Podcast album roundup for the month of October 2018. The spookiest month of the year has come and gone, and while we’re already out of leftover discount chocolate, there’s a bowl of great and not-so-great albums to get through. This month: Alex goes into full prog mode discussing the latest releases from Seventh Wonder and Polyphia on top of the latest haunting noise rock masterpiece from Daughters. Mark gets into the new team-up from DJ Muggs and Roc Marciano, Ella Mai’s much-anticipated debut album, the new solo project from Tom Morello, and has his time wasted by Lil Yachty and Quavo. Finally, Rob takes on the newest Gorod and Haken albums in detail, briefly touches on the new High on Fire, Robyn, and Behemoth albums, and delivers the internet’s 1 millionth takedown of Greta Van Fleet.

Your hosts this month are Robert (@RobBarracuda), Alex (@AuraOfAzure), and Mark (@MAK2HybridMedia). Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and Google Play Music.
