Monthly Album Roundup – January 2021

Welcome to the Decibel Boost Podcast album roundup for the month of January 2021. …This past January felt like an eternity, even more so than a lot of this past year or so, and as is fitting of the first month of the year… the new music releases were mostly just slim pickings for the hosts. However, there was still an album or two that felt like it was able to grab our attention. First up: Alex covers the long, long anticipated new studio album from Steven Wilson alongside new projects from Tribulation and Band-Maid. Next: Mark discusses a couple of new projects from well-known producers Madlib and The Alchemist, among others. Finally, Robert talks the new grindcore-esque release from death metal act Gatecreeper as well as delving into… whatever Rivers is trying to do on the new Weezer album.

Your hosts this month are Robert (@RobBarracuda), Alex (@AuraOfAzure), and Mark (@MAK2HybridMedia). Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and Google Play Music.
