The 2021 Grammy Awards came and went and they were… well it was a Grammy Awards ceremony, alright. Not too different from any typical bog standard year for the “most important night in music,” except this time around there were tons of reminders of just how much everything last year was pure awful… also it garnered less than half the audience of last year’s ceremony. Certainly a hell of a drop, but after listening to the hosts run down everything from the winners and losers to the performances on display, it will not be all that surprising why so much fewer people bothered tuned in.
